Restanques retaining walls: restoration

Workcamps: enthusiastic volunteers have been meeting 1 or 2 days a week since 2017 to rebuild the dry-stone structures, with the greatest activity involving the retaining walls.
Village centre: development of a square by building a calade.
The aim of dry stone restoration is to preserve and rehabilitate these ancestral structures, ensuring their integrity and durability.

Discovery :
- marking out and signposting of 3 discovery trails with numerous huts and restanques (available on the municipal website: patrimoine-malemort.fr)
- organisation of storytelling and musical walks
Collaboration with several organisations:
- OPUS-APARE for international work camps for young volunteers, or Erasmus + operations
- VOLUBILIS and Pierre Sèche en Vaucluse for an exchange of know-how with Croatia in 2022 and in support of our water systems project
- organisation of training courses for volunteers
